So what is the actual use case for AI ?

Those of us in creative-technical fields are at once fascinated and terrified by AI. We are unusually well positioned to work with it, and our livelihoods are among those most threatened by it.

The image above is pure AI, and not even hand-prompted: the prompt itself is procedural, part of a system that combines architectural styles. It's slop. It's also the output of a prototype that would have been infeasible to build before AI existed.

As creative engineers, we sit at an unusual intersection. Where corporate work gets automated and de-humanized, we gain something different: the ability to rapidly prototype ideas that would once take days or weeks to evaluate. If we're 10x more free to try things, the question isn't what AI will replace. It's what we'll be making a year from now.
